Do you babysit for friends and family? Or, perhaps you would like to become a babysitter when you’re old enough to do so? In that case you would probably enjoy playing a game about it. We have compiled some free babysitting games here and written a bit about each so that you can see which one appeals to you the most. Or give them all a try.
Babysitting games can be fun, and unlike a real baby you can stop whenever you like – a big advantage!
This is a puzzle game in which you have to keep the babies happy. They are cute and lovable, yet unfortunately when multiplied by five they can be very hard to take care of. In this game you have to feed, bathe and amuse every baby that is placed in your daycare babysitting center.

Tip: You’ll need to concentrate, as this game will also test your memory. Be sure to notice what the baby wants, since once you’ve lifted him/her you won’t have any cues until you put the child back in a cot.
Brittany Birt : Babysitting Room
Another babysitting game, this time it focuses on a more informal babysitting arrangement – babysitting at home! In this game you play the role of a young girl who likes children and makes her career babysitting part-time job. So you have to help Brittany take care of these small babies during her daily routine. Again you have to note what the babies want and then supply them with it to keep them happy.

Tip: Keep calm!
This game takes a slightly different approach to the other two, instead of focusing on realism it’s gone for a rather more abstract style. Babies appear and disappear as you are trying to locate and give them the thing that will make them happy. Fun, it’s nice to see the series of backgrounds that you get through the levels.

So we’ve covered the games, now do you want to learn something? First maybe we should define what babysitting is exactly. Wikipedia states that “Babysitting is the practice of temporarily caring for a child on behalf of the child’s parents.” It goes on to mention that it is often a job performed as an occassional task by teenagers. They are motivated to babysit in order to gain extra money.
It is also mentioned that babysitters are stereotyped – perceived as purely teenage girls, though in reality both boys and girls can take on the role of babysitter.
More Babysitting Games?
I’m afraid we could only find three. Hopefully at some point someone will make ‘Babysitting Tycoon’ and then we will definitely publish it here. That would certainly be an interesting concept, allowing players to run their own babysitting business.
