They altered the sort of ground sought for engagements and eliminated many natural barriers of the landscape previously used to repel an enemy advancement. As the refinement and advancement of tanks rapidly progressed, military tactics had to undergo alterations at the same pace. The increased amount of urban warfare also affected the features desired in armored assault vehicles. As did open terrain, where speed and crew comfort became added priorities. The computer age offered many almost miraculous positive features to preserving the life of tank crews, while making the assault capabilities of the vehicle operate at peak potential.

Okay, admittedly this being on this list is a bit of a stretch, but being cast in the role of tank buster you get to fly your airplane over soldiers and tanks while dropping jolly large bombs on the blighters… The main reason it’s included is because it’s got a lot going for it. Any accusations of being off topic are offset by the feeling you get when playing it! In other words, it’s decidedly fun – and made of win! It would not be an exaggeration to say that it’s the most fun you can get out of a flash game. The only criticism that could possibly be leveled at it, and it’s a minor one, is that it’s terribly hard. The graphics are very very very awesome, and the depiction of the tanks alone were enough to secure this game a place on the list.
